Steve and Barb Bajurny, from Southwick, Mass.,
have owned this stately black cherry red 1934 Ford Tudor, for the past four years. They
are the 4th owners of this grand Street Rod. It was originally made into a Street Rod, in
Maine, 25 years ago. Steve always fancied 1933 and '34 Fords. He feels they are unique.
When the Bajurnys first got this Street Rod it was in serious need of restoration.
Over a two-year period, Steve did the mechanical restoration himself. They had Ricks
Auto Body restore the original steel body and stock hardware.
This Street Rod has a H.P. Corvette motor, TH 350 transmission, 73 Corvette I.R.S rear end
and Outlaw Performance Rack & Pinion I.F.S front end, disc brakes and Sanderson
cast-iron exhaust. The interior is original style LeBaron & Bonney grey cloth with
stock trim, A/C, AM/FM radio and cassette player.
Steve and Barb enjoy their Street Rod. They have put 6000 miles on it in 2 years, even
though it is garaged all winter. They enjoy going to Cruise Nights , Street Rod Meets,
participating in fund raisers and just making people smile.
In his off-Street Rod-Time, Steve enjoys woodworking and gardening.
