Bev and Tom Hall have owned and enjoyed this beautifully restored 1939 Oldsmobile for eleven years. It is 93 Pontiac green in color, has a 283 Chevy Tri-Power motor, Chevy Turbo 350 transmission, 79’ Camaro rear-end and original front-end with a Dodge Dakota rack & pinion. The exhaust is a custom/engine hugger and wheels have American Racing Rims with Goodyear Radials. The interior is a combination brown leather and beige tweed and the body is all-original. Bev and Tom participate in local Cruise nights and lazy daze Sunday rides together. |

| Enfield Connecticut resident, Ralph Jamieson,
owns this show pleasing Street Rod. He not only shows it, but drives it,
about 3000 miles every year. This knock-out Rod gets 21 miles per gallon
on the highway and generates pleasure valued at a lot more than that. This Bel Air has a 261 6cylinder motor and 5-speed transmission. The custom seats are from a 55 Impala and the hood is welded into one piece. Ralph took off the chrome, louvered the hood added flames, lowered the front-end 6 inches and the rear-end 4 inches, changing it to Ralph’s taste. This customizing was a match made in street rodder heaven. |
