| There are three
divisions within the Wild Thing Kart Series, Cubs ages 5-7, Sprints ages 7-11 and Outlaw
ages 11-14. Within the Outlaws, is an adult class of 14 and over called Sr Champs. Per Wild Things Karts statement "This kart was designed and built in 1998 and is built to fill the need for an inexpensive way for parents and their kids to have fun." All competitors in the "Cubs" are winners as are these great kids. This class receives no points. The emphasis is on safety and learning skills to compete in kart racing. Sean Formanek, from Suffield, CT races his orange #72 in the Cub division. He frequently finishes up front. Sprints are a little older and a little more experienced. The Sprints unique flex design for both front and rear of the kart allows flexibility in the kart. Wilbraham MA resident Allison Coelho in her blue #53 Tiger Sprint B, Keith Formanek, from Suffield, in the yellow #72 Tiger Sprint B and Kaitlyn Donovan, of Waterford CT, in the purple #95 Tiger Sprint B each compete with the professionalism of seasoned racers. The Outlaw has Sprint styling with sealed box stock raptor III motor built specifically for a childrens division 11-14 and adult class of 14 and over. Dylan Lindstrom from Stafford CT, thrills onlookers in his red and black #38 Outlaw B. Ron Barbour, from Bloomfield CT, in a black #29 and Mark Vallancourt, from Windsor Locks CT, in his white #20 compete in the Outlaw Sr Champs. Both are racing middle of the pack in points and are great role models for youth in karts. Kart racing is action filled as cars tumble, pass and are glued to each others bumper.
