MOTORSPORTS MADNESS

Southern New Hampshire’s first Annual Extreme in Speed Expo took place March 31 through April 02, 2006 at the Cheshire Fairgrounds Arena on Route 12 in Swanzey NH.

A Spring-like weekend attracted a continuous flow of race and motor sport enthusiasts. They were treated to displays and programs presented by representatives from Monadnock, Twin State, Winchester and Sugar Hill Speedways as well as the touring division True Value Modified Racing Series.

Included in the show, were Stock Cars, Go Karts, Motorcross, Modifieds and Classic Autos. Several well-known race drivers signed autographs. Adults and children alike, were treated to the fair-like aroma of Swanzey’s famous sausage grinders and roaring sounds of a Monster Truck ride.

The enthusiasm by those attending the show, was apparent. Motorsports Madness is likely to be a great opener for the various motor sports programs in southern New Hampshire each spring.
