1974 BMW R75/6 Side Car #244

Jim and Christie Laura, from Concord New Hampshire, are race partners on this #244 1974 BMW motorcycle with a R75/6 sidecar.

Christie is the “monkey” of the team riding the sidecar in a magnificent balancing act.

The bike is battle can black, has a stock 750 motor, 5-speed transmission, 32/10 rear-end, custom leading link front-end, disk front brakes and stock rear brakes. It has a custom exhaust with SuperTrapps.

Jim built the bike himself over a year’s time. They use it strictly for racing.

1969 BMW /5  with Side Car #98

Marcus Poisson and Ellen Hayes from Pawtucket, Rhode Island are the racing team on the  #98 a 1969 BMW black vintage racing motorcycle with side car.

Ellen is the “monkey” on the side car thrilling everyone with her balancing moves. 

The bike is a 5-speed with a stock motor, 32/11 rear-end, leading link front-end, 16” tires, disk front brakes and drum rear brakes.  The exhaust is a SuperTrapp. 

Marcus has owned the bike for 10 years.

1979 Yamaha RD400 Daytona    

On Richard C. Snyder’s 49th birthday he was at New Hampshire International Speedway racing his 1979 Yamaha RD400 Daytona #233 vintage motorcycle. 

It has a “Kenny Rogers” style Vinyl Ester Resin body, Harry Barlow pipes, pro-flo crank, ported.  The bike is customized with progressive suspension, modern brake lines and master cylinder. 

Richard has displayed his bike at “Designs Through Time” at Albany Institute of Art and he races with USCRA, AHRMA and WERA Vintage.

He enjoys the independence of the bike, the thrill of the ride and the skill of the challenge.
