The Hebert Family

New England Hillclimbers Association

Mike and Allison Hebert and daughter Jessica Fields are a Hill Climbing family. They each belong to the New England Hillclimber Association which is AMA sanctioned. Young Jessica rides for fun, “It is awesome.” Dad, Mike, rides to win, “It is the thing to do.” Wife and Mom, Allison, rides for the pure rush of adrenalin.

Mike’s rides a green 1979 Kawasaki KZ1000, which he has had for 10 years. The bike has an extended swing arm, modified suspension and is dripping with a ton of sweat and elbow grease. There are no big sponsors, just Mike building and maintaining the bikes. His Uncle, Paul Gregoire, was the person who got Mike interested in bikes and hill climbing. Mike and his family travel the hill climb circuit throughout New England.

Allison started riding at age 30, after tagging along while her husband hillclimbed. She began with a LT250R Quad Racer. After breaking her leg on it, she decided to go to two wheels. She is currently hillclimbing her husbands blue 1970 Yamaha YZ250 while her own 1980 KDX400 is down with a blown motor. She also owns a 2003 Harley Davidson FXSTBI Night Train. Allison is on the Board of Directors for NEHA and is Secretary of the Western Mass Harley Owners Group.

Daughter Jessica rides a green 1995 Kawasaki KX 60 which she has owned for 4 weeks and a 2003 XR70. She also competes on a gymnastic team.
