The May 14 Strictly Stock feature made heads turn as #44 Danny Frederick
challenged #37 Bill Johnston for the lead with 3 laps to go. Johnston and
Frederick approached a lap car , with the lap car in the middle, the lap car
makes contact with Frederick. Unable to recover, Frederick flipped his #44
over and rolled into the infield. Frederick was shaken but uninjured.
Johnston led the 2-lap shootout to the checkered flag followed by Yardley,
Evans, Adam Gray and Jeff Wright.
