Scott Hatt finished 6th in his 3rd race ever. His racing experience,
until the 2007 season, had been working with a Pro Stock team. Scott now
owns and races the #55 4-Cylinder Enduro. In his first season, Scott had
5 top ten finishes. It appears that Scott learned a lot from that Pro
Stock team using that information to successfully build and race an
enduro. He admired and followed Davey Allison throughout his racing
career and perhaps picked up a few pointers from that too.
C.J. Johnson
#666 4-Cylinder Enduros
Friendship is the driver connection in 4-Cylinder Enduros. Per CJ
Johnson “All my friends race enduros. We go to each other for support
and advice.” CJ races #666 (a number he chose because he thought it was
a cool number) at Monadnock. The division is awesome to watch, the
reason for fans standing and cheering throughout the race. CJ has hit
the wall and he has finished in the top ten. His goal each race night is
to finish the race and not have to fix the car each week.
Tyler Zilinski
#07 Tiger B Karts
Six-year-old Tyler Zilinski raced the Tiger Cub Kart Division at
Stafford Motor Speedway in CT. His goal is to race like his Dad (Scott),
the 2007 Late Model Champion at Monadnock Speedway in New Hampshire. The
2007 season was young Tyler’s first racing season. His race strategy is
to stay on the inside.
Alexandra Fearn
#12 Tiger B Karts
East Longmeadow’s Alexandra Fearn flipped a race kart by age ten.
Following in the footsteps of her Uncle Tommy Fearn, (a well-known local
late model driver), Alexandra has two second place finishes. Her race
strategy says Alexandra is “Never to use the brake and only to lift a
bit in the turns.”
