Keith Rocco
#78 or #6 SK Modified

Admiring Bad Boy Nascar Cup driver, Tony Stewart, or perhaps having bonded with the infamous New England short track multi-talented driver, Ted Christopher, may have influenced the racing technique of young Keith Rocco #78 / #6 in the SK Modified Division at Thompson International Speedway and Stafford Motor Speedway.

“Rocco” is familiar to most New England auto race fans. Young Keith Rocco was working on his Dad’s racecar as soon as he was old enough to walk and hold a wrench. When Keith Rocco won the Sportsman Championship at “The Bowl” in 2004, it was big, as was Keith’s battle with his mentor, TC, at Thompson’s Spring Sizzler race in 2006 .

Keith’s 9.8 average of races finished, is a point well noted along with 2, 2007 season wins and several top 5 and 10 finishes. Keith is contributing to the good Rocco name. He is admirably talented driver that can push the buttons of many a seasoned racer, performing unexpected racing maneuvers each race event. Keith Rocco, young-gun on the move.

Kevin Park
#52 NEMA Midget

Iris is a really unique color for a racecar but then, Kevin Park, in the #52 NEMA, is a unique kind of guy. He didn’t grow up in racing. He didn’t race in his twenties or thirties but as a mature adult and parent of adult children. Finally fulfilling a dream, his rookie season materialized in 2006 with sons, Bryan and Mike, on the #52 NEMA team. It was good with a best 8th place finish and 11th points finish for the season.

Along with those statistics, came a lot of fun, irreplaceable bonding with his sons and growth in the NorthEastern Midget Association touring division.

As the 2007 race season materializes, Kevin Park, and team, is still on the NEMA circuit with 15 races on the schedule and 5 or so additional races at Whip City Dirt track. It is still fun and they get better at it every race.

Brett LeBlanc
#72 or #50 Sunoco Modified

A general contractor by trade, Brett LeBlanc enjoys spinning the wheel as much as he enjoys slinging a hammer. Though his prior racing experience was in the Pro4 at Thompson where he was the 2000 “Rookie of the Year: and finished 3rd in points that season he has had some great finishes on Thompson’s Sunoco #72 Modified in 06 and #50 for the 2007 season. Brett feels he has finally got his modified to turn and stay in the groove. It is a learning curve for young Brett and he proved to be a very good learner.
