James Civali
#28 Whelen Modified Tour

Age and a youthful appearance effectively disguise the driving experience and ability of James Civali car #28 Whelen Modified Tour. Civali lassoed the label of “hothead” to become a smart racecar driver. He overcame a hairsplitting defeat after being declared winner at NHIS, the biggest Nascar Modified event of the season, only to have it taken away due to a scoring confusion. Civali scored his first valiant “Tour” victory at Stafford Motor Speedway and finished the 2006 season with the “Rookie of the Year” award.

Car owner, Don King, saw talent in this young driver who won a 1998 Triple Crown Half-Midget Grand Championship at age 15 and a new legends Car Championship in 2000, at age 17. It doesn’t stop there. In the 2004 season, Civali won the Budweiser SK Modified Nationals, World Series SK Modified race and two Stafford SK Modified features. Civali competed in both WMT and BNS events in 2005 and was the “Icebreakers” SK Double Feature winner that season. Look at the King Racing Team #28 as contenders for the 2007 tour championship.

Tommy Sullivan
#16 Late Model

O’Sullivan is a family name familiar at short tracks in Connecticut. A Current generation O’Sullivan, Tommy, races a Late Model #16 at Thompson International Speedway. A welder by trade, O’Sullivan has racing history in Karts bringing home four championships and 50 plus wins.

Starting the 2007 season with a win in the first weekly race, May 24, at Thompson is a positive start for O’Sullivan. He is a master of challenge in the black and fluorescent orange #16 late Model.

Bobby Kuiken
#87k NEMA Midget

At 5-years of age Bobby Kuiken flipped his qtr midget and in 2006, at 18, he raced his first season on the traveling Northeast Midget Midget Association (NEMA) and finishing the season 24th in points from a field of 47 winged racing cars.

After a 13-year stint in qtr and slingshot midgets, this left-handed driver was able to complete over half the races in this first NEMA season. A thirteenth place finish came early in the season for the young man from Pompton Lakes New Jersey in the Halo Sheet Metal/West End Rental sponsored NEMA.

Brandon Bellinger
#02 ISMA Supermodified

   
Young Brandon Bellinger ran thirteen events in the 2006 ISMA season, ending the year18th overall and was awarded “Rookie of the Year.” Says Bellinger “I learn something at every new track. Touring has that advantage.” A memorable event is his book of racing experiences is leading in the Budweiser International Classic 700.

Rayvals
#95 ISMA Supermodified

   
With eight ISMA racing seasons under his belt, Craig “Hollywood” Rayvals competes with fury. Running in eleven 2006 supermodified events, Rayvals finished the season 9th in standings at Oswego. A season highlight was the 5th place finish in the Shamoine Memorial 75-lapper. The #95 team attached a wing for the Oswego Supernationals and Thompson World Series. With the support of wife Teresa, Rayvals rivals every ISMA contender.
