Shawn Monahan
#31 SK Modified - Waterford

Racing veteran, Shawn Monahan, began his career in with 8-cylinder Enduros in 1996, racing to 100 wins. Then it was on to Mini Stock in 1997 and Sportsman in 1998 to 2001, winning the track Championship in 2001. It did not stop there for Shawn moved to Late Models for the 2002 season where he was a feature winner. The 2003 season found him at Thompson Motor Speedway in the Sportsman Division and 9 feature wins. His love was back at “The Bowl” and 2004 Shawn found his place in the SK Division where he remains today. He won his first SK the 4th time in competition. At the tender age of 29, Monahan promises race fans action-filled events.


Phil Evans
#81 Mini Stock - Waterford

Waterford Speedbowl is home to Phil Evans and the #81 Mini Stock team. Phil has had many top 5 finishes in his seven-season reign at Waterford. “The Bowl” is a successful track for Phil. Per Phil “rage is the most difficult thing for me to overcome. I work so had to race, spend so much money to race, yet my car can be destroyed in a single lap on any given race night.” The #81 is in the top ten in points.

Jeffery Miller
#54 Mini Stock - Waterford

West Brook CT resident, Jeffery Miller, started one Mini Stock race in 36th position, moved to first in 5 laps and won the race. His racing record has 2 Championships and a “Rookie of the Year.” Award. July 2006 finds Miller in the top ten for points. With more than half a season remaining Jeffrey Miller in the #54 Mini Stock at Waterford Speedbowl is a driver to watch.
