Racing veteran, Shawn
Monahan, began his career in with 8-cylinder Enduros in 1996, racing to
100 wins. Then it was on to Mini Stock in 1997 and Sportsman in 1998 to
2001, winning the track Championship in 2001. It did not stop there for
Shawn moved to Late Models for the 2002 season where he was a feature
winner. The 2003 season found him at Thompson Motor Speedway in the
Sportsman Division and 9 feature wins. His love was back at “The Bowl”
and 2004 Shawn found his place in the SK Division where he remains
today. He won his first SK the 4th time in competition. At the tender
age of 29, Monahan promises race fans action-filled events. |
