At age 62 Lee Bundy is no slouch out on the track. Bundy races car #11 on the North East Midget Association (NEMA) a touring race division. He finished 29th in points for the 2002 season and 11th for the 2005 season.

Bundy does it all. He owns the car, races it and is the crew. From Kennebunkport Maine, Bundy likes to race at Star Speedway “because it is a fun track and makes everyone race harder” but Beechridge is his favorite just because it is Beechridge.

Being a motorcycle enthusiast, Bundy’s greatest challenge in racing Midgets was the transition for 2-wheels to 4-wheels.

With 30 plus years of race experience Bundy has a lot of race knowledge to share for the asking.

The Senior Tour Auto Racing (STAR) is a fun and rewarding racing division for long time racer Bobby Turner. A 37-year veteran of the industry, Bobby brings spirit to the Senior Tour.

Turner initiated his racing career at Beech Ridge in 1965 in the “B Class”. Moving on to “A Class”, Turner won “Rookie of the Year” and a “Championship” in both divisions before moving up to the Modified Division at Stafford and Thompson Speedways in 1969. Turner sat on the pole at the 1st Spring Sizzler in 1972, finishing in16th place after blowing a tire.

With many fond memories to choose from, Turner recalls an especially memorable race at Keene, when he raced Ollie Silvia side-by-side for the entire race and won by ½ car length.

He loves the sport and at age 56 is not ready to give it up entirely.
