Jeffrey Hartwell

Thompson Late Model #91

Jeff Hartwell was in a Strictly Stock 50-lap race when his racecar blew-up and caught on fire. That was memorable. It did not destroy Jeff’s love of racing. Jeff came back to the track and got behind the racecar wheel, he says “For the shear excitement” though he does admit that it is difficult to maintain your spirits after wrecking or after a really tough race. He has moved to the Late Model Division at Thompson International Speedway, his home track for the last 10 years. Say Jeff “ Thompson is a nice track for high speed”.

Glenn Bartkowski

Stafford DARE Stock #7

Lucky #7 Dare Stock had a 1st in the 2004 racing season. This daring young man in Dare Stock #7 was Glenn Bartkowski and his 1st was a win on June 04, 2004. It was also his first win in the seven years that he has raced in the Dare Stock Division at Stafford Motor Speedway. The 2004 season was good for Glen. Beside his win, he finished with 2 top fives and 9 top tens. Glenn attributes his success in 2004 on the fact that he has learned to be patient in the racecar and stay calm when things don’t go his way.

Glenn is taking his lucky #7, on a blue and white racecar, to the next level at Stafford Motor Speedway.

This engineer from Glastonbury Connecticut, is going to combine his engineering skills and racing experience to work his magic (and maybe a little of that #7 luck) in the Limited Late Model Division at Stafford for the 2005 racing season. A nice guy and really good driver. Glenn will be competitive, out there to win and entertain the race fans.
