Jim Boniface

TrueValue Modified Racing Series #71me

How does driving a truck relate to racing in the TrueValue Modified Racing Series? The answer to that is Jim Boniface. He drives truck professionally and open-wheel racecar #71ME on the Modified Racing Series. His “wheels” are quite different in size and appearance but Jim adapts. He is in the top ten point standings for the 2004 season with 2 wins and many great finishes.

From Hinsdale New Hampshire, Jim has a solid racing history. He won a Championship in Pro Stock, was voted “Most Popular Driver” and checkered flagged 5 weeks in a row at Claremont Speedway. Jim has raced Modifieds for 2 seasons and was awarded “Best Appearing Car.”

The owners of car #71ME are Goodwin and Anne Hannaford form Hollis Maine. They are hands-on owners and a large part of the #71ME team along with Lori Boniface, Kyle Boniface, Andre Brosseau and Claude Roy. Their major sponsor is Sure Winner Foods a distributor of ice cream.

Jim loves the sport of racing and sports in general. He is a big fan of the New England Patriots.

Harry Wheeler

TrueValue Modified Racing Series #54

The new TrueValue Modified Racing Series has presented themselves well for the 2004 racing season. Their scheduled 20 races traveled between Monadnock Speedway, Canaan Fair Speedway, Lee USA and Star Speedway in a blend of 50 or 100 lap shows. The field was full of top shelf equipment and talented drivers.

Harry Wheeler was one of those drivers in car#54 on the series in a RDL Motorsports owned racecar. This 26-year veteran of the racing industry is one half of the team that manages #54 the other half being owner Ray Legere.

Harry has raced in the Late Model Division at both Stafford and Thompson Speedways, Karts and once-upon-a-time did some motorcycle drag racing.

On this Modified Racing Series Division, Harry’s goal was to finish every race and be competitive. He worked hard at it and is mid-stream in points for the division.

A Stafford Springs Connecticut resident, Harry houses his racecar in Greenfield. His
favorite track is the now defunct RiversidePark Speedway because it was a lot of fun there. He
recalls the last race at Riverside when he started dead last and finished close to tenth. Harry
says, “I race because I love speed and competition.”
