Race of Champions Modifieds referred to as “ROC” and home to 18-year race veteran Zane Zeiner. Hardly seems possible that this 27 year old could have that race history. With 7 years in Go-Karts; where he was a 5-time National Champion, 2 years Sportsman Modifieds; where he was “Rookie of the Year”, “Most Improved Driver” and finished 2nd in points in his second season and Modifieds for 9 years; where he was awarded “Rookie of the Year” at 2 different
tracks, Flemington and Tioga Zane has the history. On an occasional off-Modified racing day, Zane may race a Legends car. His record speaks for itself, once again, 7 wins out of 25 starts.

Zane’s favorite track is Watkins Glen because it is fast with lots of room to pass. His most challenging race was at the Lancaster US Open, a track where it is difficult to beat the locals.

Fun and the challenge is why Zane races and the most difficult challenge he has personally is to stay competitive and “Never Giving Up”. Zane hails from Bath PA, is a mechanic by trade and enjoys fishing for pleasure. He is a very impressive driver on the track and a very impressive young man-on-the move, off the track.
