NEMA Midget #22

Enfield Connecticut, resident Andy Shlatz, has raced on the Northeastern Midget Association tour for 5 years. His red #22 Hawk chassis and Esslinger engine are just lingering under the top ten in points for the 2004 racing season with yet some races to climb to within the top ten numbers.

His best win was in MicroSprint at High Groove Speedway. He was 1995 and 96 Micro Sprint Champion winning 22 out of 27 races. Even those were not his race beginnings as he raced Quarter Midgets at age seven.

Andy is looking for consistency this 2004 season and some top ten finishes would be great. With the help of his Dad he can do it.
