Matt Young

#96 Late Model

Matt Young is a 20-year-old on the move the racing industry. With only 5 racing seasons under his belt, Matt raced to 1 Top 10, was 13th in the Late Model 100, and won the "16 Means 16" event in the 2003 season. His experience doesn't end there. Matt spent one season in Strictly Stock and three seasons in Dare Stock.

It was Matt's younger brother who got him started in racing by buying him a 4 cylinder Enduro. Five seasons later, Matt was on the pole of the Late Model Spring Sizzler at Stafford Speedway. Being on the pole after racing in only nine Late Model features made is Matt's toughest race.

With the 2004 season up and moving, Matt and his team are ready to race for the checkered flag. Brian Clughsey, Mike Young, Bobby Hinckley, and Ron Denno are the #96 Late Model Team. They have a good racecar, a lot of support, and the energy of youth to work hard, drive fast, and race smart.
