Brent Dragon

ACT Dodge Tour #55

There is an old saying that “Nice Guys Finish Last.”  Brent Dragon has proven that saying wrong time and again.  Brent races car#55 on the Dodge ACT Tour and he is a nice guy.   This tall (and nice to look at) racecar driver hails from Milton Vermont.  He has that comfortable Down-East way that so many Vermonters have.  Get Brent out on the racetrack and his competitive nature takes over.  He is aggressive and competent behind the wheel of a racecar. There are many sides to this nice guy.

Brent grew up in the racing industry.  His Dad was 2-time Nascar North Champion.  Brent raced Motor cross, at 18 years old, for 4 years and won the Vermont State Championship in the 125 CC Class.  He also raced 2 years on the Pro Truck Tour from PA to Maine.  Brent has raced on the Dodge ACT Tour for 12 years.  He is a 3-time Airbore NY Track Champion.

The ACT Tour races 16 times a season and Brent races his Late Model car in an additional 24 races.   His favorite track is Thompson Speedway though he has raced at most New England, New York Tracks and in Canada. Brent races twice a week and works on his racecars an additional 30 hours weekly.  His Crew Chief is Mike Hart.  The crew consists of Lance Reubtoy and Tom Arsenault.  Brent’s wife, June, is his spotter.  His love of competition is the reason Brent races.  The most challenging races for him are the New England 200, because of the length of the race.

Brent does much of the work on his racecars and drums up all of the sponsors himself.  The one thing that he would like to see change in the race industry is to have more standardized racecars.

Besides being the career racecar driver that he is, Brent has a second career.  He is a Mack Truck salesman out of Vermont.  He also enjoys hunting during the racing off-season.  On the track, Brent is a power ball, a driver to watch.
