Dan Avery is a 25-year veteran of the racing industry. He was racing before some of the current race drivers were born. Dan got his start at age 15 racing snowmobiles throughout the U.S. and Canada.  He was young but good and in 1979 adapted his racing abilities to stock car racing in the Limited Sportsman Division.  Dan’s transition to oval track racing was quick and successful.  He was attracted to the newly formed SK Division for his next racing experience and from that to Nascar Modified Division car #10 (Budweiser Car) Dan did well in each division but excelled at Riverside Park Speedway where he was 1995 Speedway Nascar Modified Champion.  There were many other achievements along the way such as Professionalism Award at 3 different speedways, Most Improved Driver, Most Popular Driver and his Rookie of the Year award in 1986.

Motion is big in Dan’s life. If not behind the wheel of a racecar, its horses or motorcycles.   He is owner of his own construction and self-storage company.  Dan resides in Somers, CT.  He has a solid reputation in the racing industry and with race fans.
