Ed Breault

NEMA Midget

This is the 7th NEMA racing season for Ed Breault in car #44. He, and his brother Lou, are just a couple of old guys racing, says Ed. He races, Lou fixes. In a joking manner Ed will say Lou does all the work, I have all the fun.

Ed’s dentist, Dr. Merchanthouse, talked him into trying racecar driving. The rest is history. Now, Ed races for the challenge of it, the rush and the great cars. He jokes about being old at 61 but you see him out there on the track and you know right away that he is not too old. Ed will race 19 times this season, for the fun of it.

Racing the midget racecars is big in Ed’s life. He also enjoys running, weight lifting, reading and motorcycles. He and his wife Rachelle have 6 children and 12 grandchildren
