Bert Marvin

SK Mod #07

Bert Marvin can be found behind the wheel of SK Modified car #07 for the 2003 racing season. He is a 12 year experienced racer and has no sponsors. The thrill of driving keeps him going. He races at numerous tracks but likes Loudon the best.

His most challenging race was at Thompson Speedway last season . It was the final race, the championship was on the line. Tension was high, just waiting for something to break or go wrong. Bert won that race and with it, the 2001 Thompson Speedway SK Championship.

Bert races 1 to 2 times each week in season and spends 40plus hour fine tuning his racecar every week. His crew chief is Dave Joaquin.

When asked what he would like to see change in the racing industry, Bert stated that he feels that the tracks need to get together and have common rules for cars etc.
